Saturday, September 13th, Nashville Tour and Annual Dinner Banquet:  Early morning, we boarded the bus again to see the full-scale replica of the ancient Greek temple, The Parthenon. Next, we stopped at the Tennessee World War II Memorial.  Wayne Agee could not help himself when he saw water again.  We soon found him in the middle of the water fountains.  Do you remember Chattanooga in 2011?
After lunch at the Farmers Market, we headed for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.  Shown were film and audio clips, glittery costumes and well-traveled instruments that bring history to life in the museums permanent exhibits.  Last, but not least, was a tour of the Lane Motor Museum with over 150 automobiles, motorcycles, amphibious and military vehicles.  Shipmates were hard-pressed to leave this great collection.  Our memorial service was held in the Hermitage Room.  The business meeting followed.
The Annual Dinner Banquet was held in the evening with entertainment by The Moonlighter Big Band.  Joe Theisen tickled the keys on his accordion before the festivities began.  We had a wonderful time!
