Tour of the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park

The Naval & Military Park is located on Lake Erie and is one of the few inland Naval parks in the country. Sitkin  people, children, relatives and friends were able to board fighting ships. These ships included the guided-missile cruiser USS Little Rock (CG-4), the destroyer USS The Sullivans (DD-537), and the World War II submarine USS Croaker (SS-246). Displays included aircraft, scale models of ships and airplanes. Our Chaplain, Mark Rucker, held the memorial service aboard the USS Little Rock (CG-4). George Kaiser played taps.
